Patanjali Herbal Research Division works on documentation, analysis, designing and project executions of different themes in the alignment of aims and scope of Patanjali institutions. Around 150 well trained scientists with different expertise in Botany, Taxonomy, Microbiology, Biotechnology, etc. Work together on several academic research projects related to plant- based medicine, yoga and any such related field towards conducting extensive research for scientific and empirical evidence in support of therapeutic effects of selected areas. Several research and review articles are published in journals of national as well as international repute having a global visibility for Yoga and Ayurveda with supportive and authenticated data. This division aims to develop systematized and validated research work that shall be highly useful for scientists, researchers and industry experts engaged in the work related to research, development and promotion of Yoga and Ayurveda.

Job Profile for Agricultural Entrepreneurship Development Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as an Agricultural Entrepreneurship Development Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing programs to promote entrepreneurship in agriculture, develop training capacities in the agricultural sector, and enhance the skills of farmers and agricultural professionals.

Location: This position is based in Hyderabad, Telengana, India.

Qualification & Experience:

• M.B.A. / M.Sc. / Ph.D. / equivalent degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness or related field.
• Experience in entrepreneurship development, agricultural training or related field.
• Strong understanding of the agricultural sector in India, with a focus on sustainable agriculture practices and rural development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver training programs and capacity building initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following:

• Develop and implement strategies to promote entrepreneurship in agriculture and empower farmers to start their own agricultural businesses.
• Design and deliver training programs to enhance the skills of farmers in areas such as sustainable farming practices, marketing, and financial management.
• Identify and collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and agricultural experts, to support entrepreneurship development and capacity building in the agricultural sector.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and growth in the agricultural sector.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of entrepreneurship development programs and training initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with agricultural cooperatives or farmer groups.
• Knowledge of sustainable agriculture practices and organic farming methods.
• Familiarity with government schemes and programs related to agriculture and rural development.
• Experience in project management and grant writing.
